Introduction
"Hello and Welcome to this safe space. Throughout this journey I will be sharing my story and sharing with you exactly what I did to pull myself out of a string of bad relationships, including the one I had with myself, and how I went from being a codependent, jealous, people pleaser who had zero self-esteem, struggled with high anxiety, depression and pessimistic thinking to a self-confident, non-jealous, independent person who is emotionally aware, stable, and never feels that need to have a partner to feel whole. I see the silver lining in every situation, and I never want to go back to my old ways of thinking and being. My journey started when I hit rock bottom after being in an abusive marriage and then in another narcissistic relationship. I started to see the connections between my upbringing and the people I allowed into my life. And over a span of seven years, I slowly put myself back together, developed a loving relationship with myself, overcame past traumas and healed my “daddy issues”. My journey was not a straight line, and this is exactly why I wrote this guide. I want others that may have a similar experience to have an easier clearer path to feeling whole again. If you resonate with any of this, I want you to know that you too have the power to change, to start accepting yourself and loving yourself through it and to regain your self-confidence and start living an emotionally healthier, happier life. This type of work is not always easy, especially if you have experienced traumatic relationships, situations or childhoods. We are going to be diving deep within ourselves, unlearning belief systems, developing trust and gratitude with ourselves, working through some painful memories with a strategy where you will feel safe, and rewiring your brain so that you can have a better relationship with yourself. It is Heather Hancock going to take dedication, repetition and the willingness to go deep, look inside yourself and shine a light on your own behaviors and things you may not like. I started this journey back in 2017 and I still use the exercises and tools that I will be sharing with you to this day because selflove is an ongoing practice, and we are always learning new things and making new belief systems. I will say though, it gets so much easier and lighter as you progress. And the freedom I have experienced from doing this type of work is so worth it! This is not something to fear, we are going to cultivate curiosity and in turn find answers and ways to redirect the way we relate to ourselves to overcome past situations and ways of being. We want to be kind and loving to ourselves throughout this journey. Before I get into any of the content, I want to make one thing very clear. I would not go back in time and change anything I did or change any of the people who were in my life. I am at a place where I can look back on everything and see how it helped me evolve as a person. Every situation, every person, every decision I made taught me so much about myself. Therefore, I wouldn’t want anyone I reference in this guide to have been different in any way. They have their own life story that made them who they are. We all have the responsibility to own our own decisions and actions. I am not saying that abuse is okay, in any way, but I own my own part in staying in these relationships. I allowed certain people into my life and in return I learned a lot about myself from the situations I experienced. I wrote this guide with no judgement. And I would love for you too, to hold no judgement towards the people I mention. I am simply sharing my experiences so that I can explain how I learned from them and moved past them. I feel a calling to help others learn how they too can grow from their experiences and reach a more balanced, calm and loving way of life. Disclaimer: I am not a licensed anything. This guide is simply what I personally did to overcome my life experiences. I was not able to afford therapy during my journey, hence I became my own therapist. I reference my use of cannabis briefly in this guide. This guide is not a substitution for therapy, but you may find what I share very helpful in your own journey. If at any point you feel like harming yourself or someone else, please reach out for professional help. If you need to talk to someone, www.988lifeline.org is available 24/7. Some of the topics I talk about, or exercises may trigger you. You may find it helpful to do certain exercises Heather Hancock with your therapist in case of emotional triggering. One last sidenote: I am a recovering perfectionist. I wrote and formatted this book myself. The way it has been written is simply the way I speak. And this is my first time formatting a book, my paragraph structures may not be typical. The information in the book is what was most important to me."

Meet the Maker
Welcome and thank you for visiting my shop. I am a transformational and self-love coach. I tap into my intuition and life experiences to create my digital offerings. I will be launching my YouTube channel @HeatherHancockCreations soon where I speak about inner transformation, recovering from emotionally and verbally abusive relationships, and developing the relationship with yourself to become the best version of you. I am also a maker and creator, I have a passion for learning new techniques and finding new ways to create unique beautiful products. I currently offer 2 physical product drops a year (they will be available here on my shop) and LOVE doing free giveaways that I announce through my Instagram page #HeatherHancockCreations.
A little background on me:
I have always been highly creative. My soul is the happiest when I am in nature, creating art or helping people overcome self-limiting belief systems. These are my passions! :)
I am a highly sensitive empath. I spent some of my childhood in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras where I took on my core values. I value deep connections over material objects and my need to help people started in childhood. For this reason, I donate a percentage of my profits to different impactful organizations (each product listing will tell you what percentage will be going where) or directly donate to individuals in need.
If you want to connect with me or get to know me on a deeper level, my Instagram page and soon-to-come YouTube channel (mentioned above) are the best ways to do so. :)
How it’s Made
I am a self-published author. I spent the last 3 years and 3 months compiling this information based on my own experiences to create a step-by-step guide to help people coming out of abusive relationships reconnect back with themselves and heal.
